Nature and wellbeing therapies at Digital Detox Retreat in Kent. Holistic therapy in Kent

Alongside raising awareness of the effects of digital technology I enjoy working with clients to find balance in other aspects of their lives with nature and wellbeing therapies.

I use a mixture Biofield Energy Healing with NLP, Core Transformation and PSYCH K to release stress on a mental and physical level.

Environmental conditions, emotional issues and belief systems can all affect our wellbeing. That’s why I take a holistic approach to mind and body balancing.

“Rest is no idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water or watching the clouds float across the sky is by no means a waste of time” John Lubbock

It’s time to take care of yourself. Stop for a minute, breathe, what is it you need? I offer nature and wellbeing therapies to create peace and balance in your life, conducted in beautiful surroundings.

How I came to holistic nature and wellbeing therapies

When I found that environmental factors were having an effect on my health I began to seek healing for my body but also mind and spirit. I attended the Dynamic Neural Retraining Program in Switzerland. This program assists people with environmental illnesses by using techniques to rewire the brain.

After having some improvements with my light and screen sensitivities I wanted to learn more. I found myself drawn to attend courses in PSYCH-K and NLP.

During that time, I also found that working solely with my mind, for me personally, was not enough and that my body needed to be nurtured too. I discovered this during my Advanced PSYCH-K workshop back in 2015. I began to struggle with the hotel environment and was going to have to pull the plug on the workshop but thankfully a lovely participant on the course offered some alternative treatment. I had not experienced physical energy healing before so wasn’t sure what to expect. To be honest I had judged it as a rather new age, hippy and out there thing. Nevertheless, I was open to any help I could have in that moment and thankfully my judgement didn’t influence the experience. My body responded to the healing positively and I managed to continue with the workshop the next day. I investigated further. I was drawn to a bio energy therapy called Bi Aura. I completed my diploma at Regents College London in 2018.

All modalities I have studied have greatly assisted me towards personal growth and wellbeing and still do. I wish to share the benefits of nature and wellbeing therapies.

Another part of the picture

Impact of nature on health.

Being in nature was something I experienced from a young age. I remember the summer days laying in a field of daises watching the clouds go by, playing in the long grass with my friends and Labrador, riding my pony until sunset.

Shinrin-yoku (forest bathing) or the Scandinavian philosophy of friluftislive (open air life) has been proven to promote health and wellbeing. Connection with nature and forest bathing makes us calmer, happier, more energised, lowers blood pressure and inflammation. The phytoncides in trees (essential oils) interact with our biology by raising our natural killer cells enhancing our immune function. When I began to feel the difference between the energy of polluted manmade and natural environments, I began to greatly appreciate nature. I could feel its rhythm and its interaction with my body. I could feel inflammation decreasing and my energy increasing. Brain fog would clear and I could feel my system balancing.

The frequency of nature is intrinsic to its health and existence. I therefore invite you to spend as much time in nature as you can.

The natural beauty we have here on the farm creates a healing space to be kind to yourself, build self awareness and enhance your creative mind towards achieving whatever goals you have. You may choose to stay in one of our shepherds huts while you have your therapy. If just attending for a session you are invited to take a mindful walk through our private rewilded valley, seeking out wildflowers and insects and take in some spiritual wisdom from the old oak tree.

The spaces are MCS and EHS friendly – please contact me to discuss

PSYCH K utilises a way to communicate with the unconscious mind to gain the change you want.

Muscle testing is used (usually an arm) which highlights whether a certain issue creates stress in the body and also when the body and mind come into balance. The process uses whole brained techniques which creates synchrony in the brain. This increases communication between both hemispheres which supports what has been referred to as “super learning”. PSYCH K assists you in re writing the software in your mind to help you direct your intention and to move forward.

  • a non-invasive, interactive process of change with a proven record of success for over 25 years!
  • a simple, yet powerful process to change subconscious beliefs that are self-limiting and self-sabotaging
  • a unique blend of various tools for change, some contemporary and some ancient, derived from contemporary neuroscience research, as well as ancient mind/body wisdom
  • a ground breaking approach to facilitating change at the subconscious level where at least 95% of our consciousness operates.
  • a process that transcends the standard methods of visualization, affirmations, will power, and positive thinking especially effective in the areas of behavioural/habit change, wellness and stress reduction

Biofield Energy Healing

Bi Aura is a form of energy healing. Energy Healing has been practised for thousands of years in the Far East and India. The premise of energy healing is that everything in the universe is infinitely connected and that this connection is through energy.

This energy is a combination of universal and earth energies. Often referred to as schuman resonance and Chi or Qi.

The human biofield is made up of this energy and there are points in the biofield known as chakras. These act as receivers and transformers distributing the Chi through the body through pathways known as meridians. A healthy system is one where there is enough flow to regenerate the system.

During our early life we start to collect information that determines our programming.  Over the years these experiences and programs we collect will govern the way we use our energy.

There are also other things that may degrade our biofield such as environmental toxins, parasites, surgery, vaccines, foods.

The way we hold information in our system whether that is through our programming or external stressors effects how the energy moves through our chakras and around our body and biofield. If the energy is incoherent then it will create imbalance in the energy matrix.

During BA sessions the client remains fully clothed but removes glasses, shoes and jewellery. Clients stand (if able) for part of the session whilst other techniques are conducted with the client in a seated position on the therapy couch. The practice of BA is very fluid as the practitioner creates a flow of movement around the client’s biofield.

My job as a Bi Aura Practitioner is to energise, clear and balance the client’s field in order to facilitate the persons own healing. Of course the client has to take steps personally towards their own wellbeing and as practitioner we will discuss the client’s lifestyle and what may be contributing to the imbalances.

Sessions are carried out in a structured format of energising, detoxing and balancing the client’s biofield.  There are a variety of techniques and each session is tailored to the client’s specific needs.  A min of four sessions is firstly recommended due to working with the different levels of energy and to support the client’s healing journey between the sessions.  If clients are staying here for a short break there is the option to do 3 shorter sessions.

After completion of the block of sessions client’s can opt for top up treatments as and when they feel it’s required.

What you may experience during treatment
A variety of experiences may occur during a BA session as part of the process of stimulating the energy and releasing. Clients report an overall feeling of relaxation.  Some see colours or gain intuition and others may feel various sensations.   Emotions may also rise and that is fine as it’s all part of your own healing process.

I personally find Bi Aura a powerful yet nurturing therapy and really enjoy being able to bring this experience to others.

1 hour is £40 or £38 on Bi Aura Mondays.

30 mins is £25

Core Transformation

Core Transformation was developed by Connirae Andreas one of the leading trainers and authors of NLP.

The process is based on the premise that behind every negative behaviour there is a positive intention. Often people talk as if a “part” of them is running a behaviour. “A part of me gets angry with him”, “a part of me wants that cake”. Sometimes it’s as if we are dealing with mixed feelings, like opposing magnets. We can reject those parts of us when we feel ashamed at our behaviour. The more we reject those parts the more fragmented we can become.

Instead of trying to push away negative thoughts and behaviours you will learn to work with those parts of yourself and transform them into allies moving toward a sense of wholeness. This is a beautiful non judgmental way of learning to make peace with yourself. It is where your limitations become the doorway to states often called “inner peace, love or oneness”. By uncovering your core state you will begin to live more and more from that core nature that is truly you.

Core Transformation is not about will power, discipline or positive thinking. It is a natural easy process that connects us with our core self. The process can help you with emotional issues, habits and old behaviours, relationships, self image and development and a general sense of wellbeing.

Unconscious or subconscious mind

The conscious mind is that part of the mind that is responsible for logic, reasoning creativity and critical thinking. It is also where our aspirations and desires reside. We only use our conscious mind around about 5-10% of the time.

During our early life we start to collect information that determines our programming. Over the years these experiences and programs we collect will govern the way we think and feel about the world. This part of us is referred to as our subconscious mind or unconscious mind. It is our hard drive and contains the software of our life programming. It is the home of our habits, reactions, bodily functions and runs up to 90-95% of our behaviours. This is where change needs to begin.
